As an irrigation service technician, you'll respond to service calls and perform repairs and maintenance on sprinkler systems. You may work alone or as part of a team to diagnose and repair problems.
Compensation
This position pays $21 - $26 per hour.

Accountabilities
As an irrigation service technician, you'll be required to meet the following expectations.
- Professional and courteous customer service
- Able to work independently to complete daily work orders
- Knowledge and experience in sprinkler system installation and repair
- Ability to troubleshoot and think outside the box
- Reliability in daily work completion, communication, and attendance
- Ability to make repairs and maintain existing sprinkler systems
- Represent the company in a positive manner, including how you drive, in your daily work, how you treat customers, and how you work with members of our team
Requirements
All irrigation service technicians must meet the following requirements.
- Wisconsin driver's license with a good driving history
- Experience installing and maintaining irrigation systems
- Technical skills and understanding of the operations of sprinkler systems and the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
Required Skills
These skills are essential for performing as an irrigation service technician on our team.
- Landscape irrigation experience, specifically installation and service
- Ability to read daily work orders and electronically time in and log comments on work completed
- Accuracy in documenting completed work, including material used, timing in and out of work orders, and noting additional service needs
- Communicate with customers in a courteous, knowledgeable, and professional manner
- Ability to make recommendations to customers to enhance their systems as needed
- Work in a variety of outdoor conditions, including sun and rain
- Ability to work with tools, bend, kneel, and walk job sites
- Travel from and back to our shop location near Merrill, Wisconsin, to customer locations in approximately a 100-mile radius in central and northern Wisconsin in a company-provided vehicle
- Maintain a good driving record-- Loss of license prevents an employee from completing job duties. Multiple driving infractions may prevent our business insurance provider from approving you as an acceptable company driver. A motor vehicle record consent approval is a condition holding this position.

The day began with a team breakfast at the shop, featuring our much-loved venison bacon—always a hit! This was our third consecutive month hosting a team breakfast, and we announced that we’ll continue this tradition at least once a month moving forward.
