It is possible that we have not received enough rain for the rain sensor to signal the controller to stop running. Rain sensors can be adjusted to detect ¼ inch, ½ inch or more of rain. It can also take time for the dowel (if applicable) to expand to signal the system to stop watering. Over time, the sensor may need service, a new battery, or need to be resynced to the controller. Call us if you’d like to schedule service to resolve any issues.
